Here in South Carolina we have been in the worst draught in over 60 years as reported by the local news station. We have been in extreme draught. But in the last week we have been getting afternoon storms that has been bringing some much needed rain to our area.
"Dear Lord, we are reminded constantly that all things come from you, you are the creator and sustainer of all life, plant and animals, and human beings. It is because we remember this that we come before you today giving you thanks for the rain that has come. We offer praise for the life it gives, for the nourishment it provides and the refreshness it brings. We continue to offer praise for all that you give to us, the rain that feeds our crops, fills our lakes, and nourishes the animals. We give you praise and thanksgiving. Hear us as we continue to lift prayers for more rain for our parched land. In your name we pray. Amen"
