Thanks for Sisters

This past Friday was my sisters birthday. Unfortunately I do not get to see her much since we live a few hours apart. But she is always on my mind. I cannot imagine what it would be like not to have her. She is a wonderful sister and a great woman. It was he that led me to church, and to an understanding of God. I will always be grateful and I will always love her for who she is, and what she means to me. So this day I offer a prayer for my sister and thankfulness for her.

"Dear Lord, only you know the plan for our lives, you set into motion the opportunities and the relationships we will have. Some of those we have to embrace and others we do not. One of the greateset gifts you give to us are our siblings. Our brothers and sisters. Today I offer thanks for my sister.

In your wisdom you gave her to me, you set her in place to inspire me, to teach me, and to model for me what a woman should be. So that when i would seek a female companion I would have someone to seek after. I thank you for her love of you, for her love of her family, and for her dedication and perserverence. I pray for her, for her to have a life of peace and one where she will know you intimately and know that you are with her in everything she faces. I pray for her, that she will be blessed for her preseverence, for her steadfastness, for her dedication to you.

Be with her, guide her and embrace her. Fill her with your love. I thank you for her, for what she means to me and my family. Let he know how much she is loved and admired.

Thank you Lord for my sister. Amen.
