We are Chosen and Dearly Loved

Colossians 3:12 (New International Version)

12 "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."

"Dear Lord, thank you for choosing me. In my state of unworthiness, in your compassion and grace you chose me to be yours. My heart is grateful and my soul rejoices in you. Even in the midst of my sin, your grace is sufficient, in the midst of my failings, you reign over me, you love me. In the mire of this world, that seeks to destroy my joy, I find joy in you. While the enemy surrounds me, your grace is victorious. Allow me to recognize and celebrate your place in my life and to always remember that I am yours because you chose me. Help me to clothe myself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience as I seek to serve you. Amen"
