Often we are confused with what we want and what God wants for us. Sometimes our desires overshadow what God's plan is for us. Let us seek his guidance for us.
"Dear Lord, I trust you, I believe in you, I know that your plan for my life is grand and wonderful. Too often I get in the way, too often I let the desires of my heart interfere with what you want for me. Help me to be what you would have me to be, to demonstrate your love daily, to honor you in my actions and in my words. I have failed you, I have sinned and need your grace to forgive me, I have not heard you. Open my ears, open my heart, open my mind to know what I believe. Your sovereignty is great, your providence is true and your plan is sure. Help me to listen to you and to have to courage to follow through with what you have called me to be. In your name I pray. Amen"
