Missions

Today my daughter will be leaving on a mission trip to assist people less fortunate, and a friend of mine is leaving for Mexico on a mission trip. With this in mind, let us lift up all those who are serving in mission fields either temporarily or full time.

"Dear Lord, your word tells us to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matt. 28:19-20a) We lift up before you all persons who have headed this call, and have given of themselves to help others. To bring the good news to those less fortunate and oppressed. To those who need you. We lift their care before you and ask that you protect them, that you embrace them and that they may hear your word and share your word. We ask your protection, and also ask for you to give them boldness to share their love for you, and their passion for Christ. Return them changed, and more dedicated to your calling. Let them listen to you and experience you in profound ways. In your name I pray. Amen."
