"Dear Lord, as our country prepares to embark on another election we pray for guidence and direction in electing our next president. Help us to discern your will for our country and not be driven by greed or lust. Help us to listen to you and to vote according to principal and not according to selfish desires and empty promises. Help us to know your will. We also pray for all four candidates and for their leadership, that your Holy Spirit will penetrate their hearts and soul and guide them in their decisions. Guide them in their speeches, let them be full of your will and guide them in their walk. Bless Senator McCain and Gov. Pailen as they strive to lead the country into a new place where your values are honored and cherished. Bless Senator Obama and Senator Biden that they will find your love and grace, and be able to serve in the Senate as persons who follow your will for our country.
Help the Unted States of America to remember you and to honor you as a country and to place the values of God above the values of America. Help America and all of her people to have a servant heart as we lead this world now and in the years to come. In the Name of Jesus the Christ we pray, Amen."
