God Is With Us

"Dear Lord, Father of us all, as this season of Christmas fast approaches help us to know you and see you in the birth of a child so many years ago. The perfect coming to us as a gift. Remind us of the words from John "for God so GAVE his son. . . " and never loose sight of the gift you offered for us. Even while we do not deserve this kind of love, you gave anyway. Help us in this season to accept the gift and to know, to understand and to humbly receive your son into our hearts, our minds and into our lives. Make this the most special Christmas ever, not because of the gifts we give and receive from one another, rather because of Jesus the most perfect gift. The servant king, the king of kings, the messiah, Emmanuel. God is with us, let us rejoice. God is with us. Amen"
