God is Good

Each Sunday at the conclusion of the service our pastor makes the following statement like this.
Pastor: "God is Good."
Congregation: "All the time."

Pastor: "All the time."
Congregation: "God is good."

Today's prayer is dedicated to and for a God that is good all the time.

"Holy God, you are more good than i can even imagine, more than I realize or deserve your goodness is prevalent. When i least deserve it, you embrace me and shield me from all that is evil. Your grace is so real and undeserved that I seldom, if ever can understand your willingness to offer it to me. Dear Lord, thank you for loving me and for being who you are in my life. Thank you for showering me with your grace and love, for the times I never deserve it, and when I think I do. Humble me, make me your servant so that I can share your love with others, help me to show you to those who least expect it from me. Help me to forgive those who hurt me, to love those who do not expect to be loved by me. Help me to appreciate your goodness and your graciousness. Thank you Lord for being good, all the time. Help me to recognize you in all you do, and to see you for who your are, the God of Love and Grace. In your name I pray. Amen."
